Family Policy Statement

This family policy statement is what I intend to use as a guide towards creating and building a welcoming school environment when I start my own school. Be it a daycare, preschool or elementary.

Focus on the Family

What I have found to be true through personal experience, is that if the parents/caregivers of a child aren't doing well in any way (spiritually, mentally, physically or emotionally) it affects the entire family especially the children. Therefore, Focus on the Family is a great resource that caters to the entire wellbeing of the family speaking on various topics concerning marriage, parenting, culture, etc.

Mumsnet

This is an online forum where mostly mothers post and ask questions, vent, or share tips on raising children. To join, you have the options of using Facebook, Google, or Apple to participate. With lots of parents’ child rearing in isolation, it’s a great way to form community.

Momco

Momco is an international mothers group that has its meetings in churches . It links mothers from different areas to come together and share meals and life while learning about different relevant topics such as; managing a household, schooling, dealing with behavior challenges, etc. I am a beneficiary of it and highly recommend it.

Re/engage

This is a group centered form of therapy for married people who are doing great and those on the rocks. It's both for the newly married, veterans and even couples in blended families. Couples first attend large  group meetings then are put in a closed group with other couples where they study a book together , get insight and form friendships for 16 weeks. This is something my husband and I have been a part of and it was great to know we weren't the only ones struggling in marriage!
